The Opening of SAMCO second R&D Center

 
On March 6, 2008 the opening ceremony for the second SAMCO R&D building was held. The construction of this new building began in November of 2007 and is located on the co-leased land on the north side of the service centre in Kyoto, Japan.

The building is being used to research and growth of materials such as nitrides, oxides and ferroelectrics expected to be used in next generation of semiconductors. Furthermore, the new R&D building will be used to continue to improve SAMCO`s partnerships and cooperative agreements with universities and research institutes both within and outside Japan.
