SAMCO and Tsinghua University
A Joint Research Agreement
SAMCO
has been collaborating with major Universities, e.g. Cambridge; in the field of nanotechnology by
conducting joint research projects or sending our engineers to their sites.
Consequently, we have been obtaining good results in our research.
SAMCO has recently
entered into a joint research agreement with Tsinghua University in China
on nanotechnology processing, for next-generation
telecommunication applications. SAMCO took part in a signing ceremony at Tsinghua
University on September 15, 2006.
Tsinghua
University is considered one of the top-level Universities in China, on par with Beijing University. Their science and technology
departments have been ranked No. 1 among all of the Chinese
Universities, in the twelve consecutive years since 1994.
After having
signed the agreement, SAMCO will provide Tsinghua University with an ICP
Etching system and start the joint research program that focuses on
nanotechnology processing and quantum dot technologies for manufacturing nanodevices.
