Thin Film Technology Seminar
at Tsinghua University
 

SAMCO has actively conducted technical joint research with leading universities in Japan and abroad. In September 2006, SAMCO entered a joint research contract with Tsinghua University focusing on nano processing technologies which will be applied in the next generation telecommunication sector.

SAMCO held the first anniversary seminar on November 2, 2007, “Samco and Tsinghua University thin film technical seminar” in Beijing where technical papers were presented and discussed in detail.


“SAMCO thin film technical seminar” was held in order to convey the cutting-edge “Thin film technology” to researchers and engineers worldwide. The first seminar was held in 1979 when SAMCO was established. Until now, it has been held 13 times in Kyoto and Tokyo on the themes of micromachining, ferroelectric thin film technology and nano photonic.

With growing worldwide interest in nanotechnology, the number of audience was more than 130 including researchers and graduate students from Tsinghua University, Peking University and Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the seminar.
