Samco Inc. will participate in UGIM 2026, the University/Government/Industry Micro/Nanotechnology Symposium, taking place from July 19 to 22, 2026, at Stanford University in Stanford, California.
UGIM brings together professionals from university, government, and industry micro/nanotechnology facilities to exchange knowledge, share operational experience, and discuss the future of micro/nano fabrication infrastructure. The 2026 symposium marks the 25th UGIM meeting since its inception in 1975.
As micro/nano fabrication facilities support increasingly diverse research areas, including semiconductors, photonics, MEMS, quantum devices, and advanced materials, collaboration between facility teams and equipment providers remains essential. UGIM provides an important forum for discussing practical challenges in cleanroom operation, process development, user training, tool utilization, and technology transfer.
During the symposium, Samco will be available at Table #1 in the Fisher Conference Center. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to discuss process challenges, equipment capabilities, and collaboration opportunities related to plasma etching, atomic layer etching, plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition, and surface treatment technologies.
Samco looks forward to connecting with members of the micro/nanotechnology facility community at Stanford and supporting discussions that help advance research and innovation in shared cleanroom environments.
